We rejoice that you have chosen to visit us! The Community of the Mother of Jesus is a religious community for vowed people in the monastic tradition of the Episcopal Church. Our mission is to minister to our neighbors who are in need. We also raise our voice to call on society and institutions to share from their abundance with those without while engaging in a rich prayer-life.
Christian Communities, such as ours, stand at the crossroad of the church and the world, with a foot firmly rooted in the communities we live and serve in, and a foot firmly rooted in the traditions, practices and spirituality handed down from the Christian monastic way of life.
